Is it just me or is the aspect ratio wrong in this video?

Not exactly the best speakers in the world, it is interesting to see outtakes from 1950s television. Such outtakes are rare, more so from DuMont.

I did not know that the series originated from WAAM-TV (according to one of the speakers). WAAM also contributed at least one other series to the DuMont schedule.

According to Wikipedia, this was originally a NBC series (1949-1950), with a short run on DuMont in 1951 (4 February 1951 to 6 May 1951).

Does any other footage exist of "The Armed Forces Hour"? No episodes are confirmed to survive at the archives which are known to hold DuMont material. Same with "Visit with the Armed Forces" (1950-1951).
